Lovely take out food. . Staff are excellent ...
Terrible. Had chicken tikka masala and was totally inedible, didn't taste like any curry I've ever had let alone a masala. Wasn't even close, tasted like caramelized onion gravy, that's the best I can describe it. had another curry also which wasn't up to scratch either. Did complain and had replacement but was exactly the same. Lovely staff but won't be returning.
My dish was rancid. It tasted like blue cheese. I think the cream was off. I wasnt going to leave a review; we all make mistakes. Were fairly easy-going and can't be bothered to make complaints. The girl on the front desk was great we picked out 2 different dishes and I went to pick it up. Then it all went downhill. The chef has 0 customer service. He said there was nothing wrong with the dish I was incredulous. I said to him: you think that tastes good? and he nodded! Honestly, it was horrendous. I went back to their takeaway, was friendly to them, wasnt awkward or anything as you might expect someone to have to go back because they had sold me gone-off food (we didnt even get 5 minutes into The Meg!). Then to be met by a rude chef just ruined any future custom they would have had from us. If a customer says theres something wrong, you say sorry and you definitely dont tell them there is nothing wrong. Our first mouthful told us straight away something wasnt right. Weve both been chefs in the past and like to think we know our food. I was astounded at his rudeness and if he really thinks there was nothing wrong with that food, he shouldnt be working in a kitchen. There wasnt really any need for him to get involved: Id spoken to the girl, organised an exchange. It was a collection, so why would I go out of my way for no reason? We even brought all the food back we were not trying to get a free meal. The replacement food was ok, not great. Sauce, sauce, sauce and a couple of bits of chicken. It definitely wasnt a takeaway wed save for the next day. Free side salad was served in a doggie bag its only a takeaway, not a restaurant, so youd think theyd take a bit more care on their presentation.Welsh Spice has now alienated their customer. It was my first experience with them, and now, thanks to Chef Perfect, my last.
Excellent service (fast and efficient) fantastic food couldn't be happier
Great food and great value. Probably best tasting Indian food have had. Very large portions too. Set meal for one is fantastic value.
