My daughter and two grandchildren spent a very miserable hour here. When we arrived there was a notice saying the heater was not working - but the children were so excited we decided to stay a while. We went to buy a cuppa and on chatting to the very young staff were told the heating had been off since October (this was January) due to a theft of the oil and he had no idea when it would be back on (comments were made from him and his female (again very young) colleague how miserable it was being there but they needed the work. There was no supervision by staff and yes we accept that parents have some responsibility to keep an eye on children but staff should be checking things like the ages of children in younger ones play areas. We would never go again and NOT recommend this place is an accident waiting to happen.
Hidden in an industrial estate, understaffed and the staff that were there don know what their doing, children left to obtain their own skates, no supervision, no first aider on hand and when questioned the owner states "its up to the parents to supervise them" yet adults aren't allowed on the "ice rink" at the same time as children, On top of which "this is the same thing they do in any ice rink, Cardiff for instance" yet I used to be a supervisor in Cardiff. Rubbish hidden behind the barrier of the far end of the "ice rink". Music Screaming out of two speakers make it impossible to talk to anyone (and I'm a DJ now, I can deal with loud music) Owner is more interested in making cakes then the running of their business. Waste of fuel driving there! Save Money, Send Your Children Roller Blading Up The M4, It Will Probably Be Safer!
